The Raleigh Tribune -

Is a collaborative effort that consists of a small group of college students that share the idea that local, community news is important and worthwhile? We believe that the roots of the community should have a voice and that it should be heard.

Our target audience is the people of Raleigh, North Carolina. But, we are not limited to and will report national and world news.

Our objective is to publish news that large media conglomerates deem “not news worthy,” when in fact; much of what they forget is extremely important and valuable information to the local community.

The simple news is often the most informative even if it’s not “breaking news,” and mostly goes uncovered if left up to large media – but our goal is to reverse that scenario.
